You may have received an automated email notification from Windcave regarding upcoming "TLS Certificate Changes" that require action before November 2026. Below is the notice sent by Windcave:Â

Windcave's websites use TLS certificates to encrypt data in transit and allow your browser to verify it is communicating with a legitimate Windcave server.
Due to an upcoming industry wide change, Windcave will be changing TLS certificate providers and updating our TLS certificates on a more regular basis. The next change to our TLS certificate provider will occur on 3 November 2026.
For most customers, no action will be required.
However, a small number of customers may be affected if their systems explicitly trust or whitelist specific TLS certificate authorities, certificate chains, or OCSP or CRL endpoints when connecting to Windcave.
These configurations are customer managed and are not something Windcave is able to detect or validate.
If you are affected and your systems are not updated in time, you may be unable to process transactions. This is something we are unable to detect from our end.
We recommend contacting your IT administrator well in advance of 3 November 2026 to assess whether your systems should be updated in accordance with Windcave™s proposed changes and timelines set out here: https://www.windcave.com/tls-certificate-validity-periods.

Impact on Payments2Us
None. If you are using Payments2Us to collect donations or process payments via a Windcave payment gateway, you are not impacted by this change.
Payments2Us does not explicitly trust or store specific certificates locally within your Salesforce instance for the Windcave integration. Because our application leverages dynamic, secure standard protocols without hardcoding these certificates, the changes made on Windcave's end will seamlessly be handled by the existing integration infrastructure.
No action is needed. Customers using Payments2Us alongside Windcave can safely ignore this specific Windcave email notification.
