How to change the header section for only one Payment Form?

Overview

This article explains how to display a different header logo/text/image section for one specific Payment Form in Payments2Us without creating a new Merchant Facility. By default, the Payment Form header is controlled by the Payment Note field on the Merchant Facility. However, you can override this on a per-campaign basis using the Campaign’s Payment Form Text field and URL Token.

Use Case / Scenario

  • You want to use a unique header logo or header content for one Payment Form only.
  • All other Payment Forms should continue using the standard Merchant Facility header.
  • You do not want to create a separate Merchant Facility just for this Payment Form.

Basic flow

How Header Content Works with Payments2Us

Payments2Us Payment Forms can display a header section at the top of the form. This header is determined by the following order of precedence:

  1. Campaign “Payment Form Text” – If the Payment Form is linked to a Campaign that contains text or HTML in this field, that content will appear above the form.
  2. Merchant Facility “Payment Note” – If there is no Campaign or the Campaign field is blank, Payments2Us will display the content from the Merchant Facility’s Payment Note instead.

Therefore, to have a unique header or logo for one Payment Form, link the form to a Campaign and enter your custom header content or logo reference in the Payment Form Text field of that Campaign. The Payment Form will then display that Campaign header, overriding the Merchant Facility one.

Steps to Configure

  1. Open or create the Campaign record that will be linked to your Payment Form.
  2. Ensure the field Payment Form Text is visible on your page layout.
  3. In the Payment Form Text field, add your custom HTML or image tag for the header logo (e.g. <img src="your-logo-url.png" alt="Custom Logo">).
  4. Tick the Create URL Token checkbox.
  5. Once saved, the URL Token Full URL field will display the unique campaign URL for your Payment Form.
  6. Use this campaign URL instead of the standard Payment Form URL when sharing or embedding the form.

Example

Suppose you want a special Payment Form for an annual appeal. You can:

  • Leave the Merchant Facility’s Payment Note blank (to avoid overlapping text).
  • Create a Campaign named “Annual Appeal 2025”.
  • Enter a custom logo or header text in the Campaign’s Payment Form Text field.
  • Generate and share the Campaign URL token to use that customized header for this Payment Form only.

If both the Merchant Facility and Campaign contain header text, the Merchant Facility header will appear first, followed by the Campaign’s text underneath.
