If your organization accepts donations in multiple currencies, the Currency Picklist allows donors to choose the currency they prefer. This gives donors more flexibility and means you no longer need to create separate forms or pages for different currency preferences.
Once enabled, Studio will automatically adjust suggested donation amounts based on real-time exchange rates and update the currency symbol shown on the form.
Step 1: Enable Currency Selection
- Open Manage Forms and enter the Form Editor for your 3-step form.
- Go to the Amount tab.
- Scroll to the Currency Selection (Optional) section.
- Click Enable Currency Selection.
Once enabled, a currency picklist will appear at the bottom of the first step of your form preview.

Step 2: Set a Default Currency
The Default Currency is the currency used for your suggested donation amounts in the Donation Amount section.
How it works
- Suggested amounts are defined based on your default currency.
- When a donor switches to another currency, Studio automatically recalculates each suggested amount using the latest exchange rates.
- The currency symbol will update accordingly.
Example:
If your default currency is AUD with suggested amounts 35, 60, 120, 200, switching to USD may display 23, 39, 78, 129.
Step 3: Choose your supported currencies
- In the Currency Selection's Picklist Options section, scroll through the list of available currencies.
- Tick the checkbox next to each currency you want to support.
- Use Ctrl + F to quickly find your currency.
- To manage your list efficiently:
- Click Select All to include all currencies.
- Click Unselect All to clear the entire list.
- Click Update to confirm your picklist selections.
Note
Your Default Currency must also be included in your Picklist Options. Be sure it is ticked before saving.

Step 4: Save and test your form
- Click Update at the bottom of your screen.
- Open a live Studio page connected to this form.
- Switch between currencies in the picklist and review the updated amount values.
- Make a test donation.
- In Salesforce, locate the resulting Payment Txn record and verify the Currency field matches the currency selected on the form.
