When donor updates card details via a email link or when we update it in SF using Update Card Details button does the Recurring Payment Status has to be active?

When a card holder updates their card details using the link from the email then the Recurring Payment is changed from Suspended Max Retries back to Active.

Note, if you use the Card Update button on the Recurring Payment Object to update the card holders card, then you will need to mark the payment back as Active as this process does not automatically change the status
