Overview
When testing recurring payments in a Salesforce sandbox, you may find that the Run Now button or link is not displayed on the Merchant Facility.
This occurs when the Salesforce environment and Payment Gateway environment do not match.
Use Case / Scenario
You are testing recurring payment processing in a Salesforce sandbox, but the Run Now option is not available on the Merchant Facility.
How this Works with Payments2Us
Payments2Us displays the Run Now option conditionally. The option will NOT appear when:
- Salesforce is running in a Sandbox environment.
- The Environment on the Merchant Facility is set to Production.
This prevents a sandbox from manually running the Recurring Payment Processor against a Production Payment Gateway environment.
Details / Steps / Resolution
To display the Run Now option:
- Open the relevant Merchant Facility.
- Locate the Environment field.
- Change the Environment from Production to Sandbox.
- Save the Merchant Facility.
- Refresh the page and confirm that the Run Now option is displayed.
