If you’re collecting supporter details through 3-step forms in Studio, validating addresses and emails in real time helps reduce errors and improve data quality in Salesforce. With AddressFinder, you can support international addresses (including Australia and New Zealand) — plus optional email validation.
1. Sign up for AddressFinder
Create an account at addressfinder.com and generate your API key from the portal.
You’ll need this key to connect the service to Studio.
2. Set up AddressFinder in Studio
- Go to the Settings tab in Studio.
- From the side menu, click Data Validation.
- Tick the checkbox: “I have signed up with AddressFinder and obtained my API key.”
- Paste your AddressFinder API key into the provided field.
- (Optional) Tick “Enable AddressFinder Email Validation” if you'd like to validate email addresses as well. Untick if you only need address validation.
- Click Save.

3. Authorise Your Studio Domain in AddressFinder
To activate the widget on your donation pages:
- Log in to your AddressFinder Portal.
- Go to the Domains tab.
- Add your Studio publishing domain (e.g.
[your org name].payments2us.org
) or your custom domain (e.g.donate.[your domain]
) if you've configured one. - Save changes.
3. Test Your Setup
Open any live donation page that’s connected to a 3-step form and try typing in an address field.
- You should see live address suggestions appear.
- If enabled, email validation will also trigger when users enter their email.
