Before every Studio release, our team conducts thorough testing to ensure the rollout is as frictionless as possible for our end users. That said, every organisation's website is set up a little differently, so we recommend running a quick check of your own live pages after an update — it only takes a few minutes and helps catch anything specific to your configuration.
This checklist covers your live, donor-facing pages.
Page rendering & Visual check
- Does the Studio URL linked to your webpage navigate and load correctly?
- Does your donation form load properly on your page?
- Do all images and videos on the page display correctly on one or more device/browsers?
- Does the form flow smoothly from selecting an amount through to checkout, with no issues along the way?
Domain & branding
- If you use a custom domain, does it load securely (look for the padlock in your browser's address bar)?
- Does your favicon and organisation name display correctly, including any special characters (e.g. accents, apostrophes, "&")?
Form functionality
- If you offer multiple currencies, campaigns, or payment methods, do those selectors work correctly?
- Do any custom fields work as expected?
- Does the address lookup/autofill work normally?
Embedded form check (if you're iFraming Studio form on your own website)
- Does the form display properly where it's embedded: not blank, not cut off?
- Does it resize properly to fit your page layout, with no odd scrollbars or overlapping content?
- Can visitors still navigate normally around the embedded form (e.g. any "back to site" links, step navigation)?
New studio functionalities
- Are you able to add security statement for your form?
- Do dynamic suggested amount parameters (if applicable) apply for your page correctly?
- Are you able to configure a progress bar on your page?
