Which Payment Gateway?
If you are just trialing Payments2Us, you can skip this step and use our Demo Facility.
Each of the Payment Gateways has its own unique pros/cons. If you already have one of our support Payment Gateways being used elsewhere in the organisation, then starting with that might be a good idea.
If you do not already have a Payment Gateway, then use the Payment Gateway Comparison to select the one that is right for you. Then contact the Payment Gateway Provider to get an account setup.
You do not have to complete the above step to carry on with the installation, but getting a Payment Gateway can take some time and you'll need this before going live.
Installation Steps
- Decide if installing in Sandbox or Production
- Install Payments2US from the AppExchange
- Create a Force.com Site
- Setup Permissions for Force.com Site - Make sure the classic steps are followed.
- Setup Sharing rules for Force.com Site
- Create Sample Data
- Authorise Payments2Us
- Test online form
- Assign Permission Sets to Users
The above goes through the standard and core setup of Payments2Us. There are also some optional setup items that may be required for various modules of Payments2Us.
